Short Description

Adds the Spanish translation of the docs: 88 pages, plus the interface text (navbar, footer, sidebar headings, homepage).

Part of the docs translation project.

Details

  • Translated with the /translate skill in Claude Code (Claude Opus 5.5). Every page is marked translation_review_status: machine; none has been human-reviewed yet.
  • Pages without a translation fall back to English and show a one-line notice saying so (src/components/UntranslatedNotice.js and the swizzled DocItem/Content, BlogPostItem and BlogPostItems).
  • Spanish house style in .agents/skills/translate/es.md (neutral Latin American Spanish, "tú"), and new Spanish rules in translation-rules.yml from review.
  • A few English fixes found while translating: a broken link in tutorials/tutorial.md, and the unit testing typo fixes from Fix typos in the unit testing pages #900 (merged in via Translate the unit testing pages into Spanish #901).

Earlier translation PRs into this branch: #895 (CLI pages), #901 (unit testing pages).

The translate skill now keeps the translation of every block whose English
has not changed, and checks glossary terms block by block.
Fixes mailto links, adds the Manage Projects link, corrects the
Principles heading anchor and the Get Started section name. Other
changed blocks were typo fixes whose Spanish already read correctly.
side-by-side.js --json now gives each changed block a previous field
with the old English, its old translation and a word diff, so the
translator can tell a typo fix from a change in meaning. pages.md says
how to use it, and that the source hash is updated even when no
translated text changes.
Add translation rules for es-419 and for the gender of English terms kept in Spanish, and replace Spain-only words in the Get Started pages and interface text (lista de verificación, capacitación, computadora, contactar a, la CLI).
Replace "informar de problemas" with "reportar problemas", following the neutral Latin American Spanish rule added in d8a7d41.

Fix the tutorial translations: "en campo" for "in the field", "debería" for
"should", "y History" rather than "e History", and "entrada" for "input" as a
plain noun. Add these as rules in es.md so later sections follow them.

Unit tests only work against pure functions in your code (top level function
declarations): they do not qork against operations or adaptor functions because

Turn on Spanish at /es/ with a language dropdown, and add the skills and rules used to translate and review it. The Spanish pages are machine translations, not yet human-reviewed; untranslated pages fall back to English with a notice.

Site:
- Add the es locale, the locale dropdown, and editLocalizedFiles so "Edit this page" opens the translated file. Remove the unused tagline.
- Make homepage text translatable, and keep highlight card links in the reader's locale.
- Give adaptor sidebar items unique translation keys, which a second locale needs to build.

Spanish content (#884):
- Interface text, plus Get Started, tutorials, Design Workflows, Write Jobs, Platform, Build, CLI, deploy, get-help, contribute and unit testing.
- Written in neutral Latin American Spanish (es-419).

Translation tooling:
- translate skill, split into pages and interface tasks, and a review-translation skill to run in a fresh session.
- check-translation.js flags glossary terms and house style breaks.
- Updates edit only the blocks whose English changed, from a word diff of the English.
- glossary.yml terms can list a word per locale (Spanish translates project, credential, collection and operation).
- es.md holds the Spanish house style; translation-rules.yml holds single-phrase fixes.
- AGENTS.md and README.md: the build covers every locale, and how to run Spanish locally.

English fixes:
- Terminology: close the Workflows callout, and format initial and final `state` as code.
- Typos and link tidy-ups on the CLI usage, best practices, unit testing and tutorial pages.
