Why

  • iPhone Mirroring uses a gesture-based scroll path, so reversing only CGEvent scroll wheel deltas does not affect scrolling in the mirrored iPhone window.
  • Related issue or N/A: N/A

What

  • Add an iPhone Mirroring-specific reverse setting and label it "iPhone Mirroring App Reverse" in Settings.
  • Detect iPhone Mirroring using its actual bundle identifier, com.apple.ScreenContinuity.
  • Temporarily invert macOS natural scrolling while iPhone Mirroring is frontmost and the setting is enabled, then restore the original value when leaving the app.
  • Keep the existing mouse and trackpad reversal behavior for other apps.

Reference

claude and others added 3 commits May 9, 2026 00:40
When iPhone Mirroring is the frontmost application, mouse and trackpad
reverse settings are bypassed in favour of the new independent reverseHid
setting (vertical axis only). The active app is tracked via
NSWorkspace.didActivateApplicationNotification so the event tap callback
can read the state lock-safely without touching MainActor APIs.
