The static-field example died on 'Timed out receiving message from renderer: 30.000' — the renderer can stall longer than the previous page_load bound, so navigation now gets 60s while the Capybara-level waits stay as they were. The sign-in helper drove the form through placeholders and the button caption, both of which follow the locale; user_email/user_password ids and the #new_user form anchor are stable form_for output.
