Rename the ruff hook to ruff-check (the old id is a legacy alias). Raise TypeError instead of RuntimeError when map() finds non-hashable label values. __ior__ still returns a new AttrsDict, so PYI034 is silenced there. Assisted-by: Generative AI
d |= other used to merge with the plain dict update and then rebind d to a new AttrsDict. Other references to the original object saw the new keys without attribute access, and nested dicts stayed plain dicts. Now each item is set through __setitem__ and the same object is returned.
