Add optional
results.errorsfor diagnostics that do not belong to an individual test result. Each non-empty entry permits optional stringmessage/traceand objectextra. Global errors remain separate from test inventory and summary counts; an all-passed test set can still accompany a global error.Updates the schema and embedded copy, numbered specification sections, existing standalone/inline examples, changelog and 32 normative cases. Related to #65; broader attribution, completeness and overall-run-outcome questions remain open.
Stack step 11, based on
prep/0.3.0-10-assertion-failures. Review and merge after the assertion-failure PR. Downstream library/CLI/reporters and website adoption follow authoritative Core acceptance/release.Validation recorded 25 October: checksum-verified Sourcemeta 14.4.0 format/lint, 22 reference/265 normative cases and nine standalone reports passed. Independent AJV agrees on both corpora and ten complete inline reports; embedded-schema byte equality and whitespace checks pass. Parent reports remain valid and test arrays/counts are preserved. No hosted CI or native adapter verification was performed during implementation; no informative test directory exists.
