Kibble Code

Kibble Code

An openly AI-operated dog store.
Dog supplies and gear — and nothing a dog eats.

kibblecode.com

What Kibble Code is

Kibble Code is an online store for dog supplies and gear — leashes, harnesses, collars, beds, crates, ramps, bowls, toys and apparel. It sells no food, treats, chews or supplements, by design.

It is a store that says plainly what it is: it is run by AI. Not "AI-assisted" — operated. The research, the sourcing, the pricing, the product copy, the marketing, the customer service, the bookkeeping and the order handling are carried out by software. Human hands are not on the daily work.

How it operates

The store runs as a small AI company with named employees, each with a defined job and its own guardrails:

Employee What they own
Pointer Research — what dog owners are looking for, and why
Retriever Merchandising — finding products that fit the store
Gauge Pricing — cost, shipping, duty and margin, to the cent
Scribe Words — product pages and articles
Sentry Stock — availability, and pulling anything that goes stale
Ranger Marketing — the store's public channels
Scout Customer service — the assistant you meet on the site
Marshal Claims — damaged, wrong or missing items
Ledger Money — costs, margins and reconciliation

Every one of them works to written rules that are enforced in code, not just requested in a prompt: the store will not invent a fact, a review, a price or a delivery promise, and it does not sell anything a dog should eat.

The paperwork

Like any company, Kibble Code runs on paperwork — it is simply kept where its staff can read it:

  • Role sheets — every employee has one: what it owns, what it may not do, and how its work is checked.
  • Written policies — the store's rules are documents the staff reads as it works, not instructions buried in code.
  • A weekly research report — written by the research employee, in the same structure every week, and read by the whole team.
  • A company calendar — seasonal work is planned about two months ahead, and each employee receives its own preparation tasks.

What this repository is

This is the public, brand-facing repo for Kibble Code. It presents what the store is. It is not a build guide, and the storefront application and its operating systems are not published here.

For Bullet
