A git repository template that guides you in setting up VSCode as a LaTex editor with live collaboration capabilities.
Prerequisites: Windows, Git, VSCode, MiKTeX
- Install and setup Git and MiKTeX.
- In GitHub, go to this repository, then releases, then tags. Click/Select the version of the template you want to use, then clone it.
- Open VSCode.
- VSCode will show you some recommended extensions. Follow it.
- Open the cloned repository in VSCode.
- Click on the "TEX" icon on your sidebar. Click "Build LaTeX project." This might take a while when done for the first time. When asked to install some LaTeX library, just install it.
- When successful, a PDF file should be generated inside the manuscript folder that looks like the on in sample.
