… 10 and the WinUI look A bar in the layout that tells the user how things stand: a severity with its colour and icon, a title, a message, an action and a close button. Closing raises Closing, which can refuse it, and then Closed, in the order WinUI raises them. The icons are the glyphs of WinUI from the bundled Segoe MDL2 Assets, and Icon or IconTemplate put others in their place. The three looks share one template. The colours of the severities are new theme resources after InfoBar_themeresources.xaml, and the informational icon takes the accent. The gallery has a page for it, and NOTICE.md names microsoft-ui-xaml, which the control is ported from.
MetroWindow.InfoBars takes an InfoBarsControl, whose bars lie over the top of the content under the title bar, 12 from the edges and 8 apart, and push nothing aside. They sit right after the content and without a ZIndex, so the cover of a modal flyout, the flyouts, the overlay and the dialogs lie over them. Without a title bar they keep clear of the window buttons, and they follow the data context of the window like the flyouts do. In the host an informational bar takes an opaque ground, the see through one of WinUI laid over the window background, so the content does not show through it. The gallery has a window with two bars and a modal flyout for it.
…the WinUI set A page that asks for it with HasStyleSets gets a switch in its heading, beside the links, that puts all of its samples into one of the three sets. The cards inherit the set from the page, and the markup shown under them stays the same, since the look comes from the set an application merges. The InfoBar page has it, and its window opens in the set chosen there.
